Dannielle at Snapper Rocks

Beautiful location, beautiful weather although a little hot, help from Tara and the lovely model Dannielle. I decided to do my own version of a beach shoot with Dannielle at the famous Snapper Rocks. It was hot, 36.5 deg apparently but we got the shoot done. The images are a combination of direct sunlight, into the sun with fill flash, shade with fill and some using a California Sunswatter. It was the first time I have tried this and was not disappointed. It gives me more options and Dannielle loved the fact she didn’t have sun in her eyes but was out in the open. We used the Sunswatter at around 10.00 in the morning to get the images with perhaps the only issue is the wind. I would have liked to try the Swatter and a reflector only but given I was standing in water, I would not have been able to balance the reflector and shoot. A third person would have made that possible.
A fantastic morning and a lot learnt!
